Không có gì gây thiện cảm bằng chữ viết tay trên giấy, nhưng đừng làm quá như Lionel Richie. Theo tác giả Samara O’Shea của quyển For The Love of Letters thì bạn có thể bắt đầu viết :” I’ve been thinking about us a lot”, và “Six years later I am still crazy about you” và rồi nói những câu đặc biệt như :” There’s no one’s shoes I’d rather trip over.” và kết thúc đơn giản bằng : “Love, Joe.”

Thay vì gởi thư tay là tốt nhất, bạn cũng có thể viết như vậy bằng email.
